Narrative

REQUESTED DEPLOYMENT OF 8 TYPE II AMBULANCE STRIKE TEAMS TO SAN DIEGO COUNTY TO ASSIST WITH CARE & TRANSPORTATION OF PATIENTS EVACUATED FROM HOSPITALS AFFECTED BY LARGE WILDLAND FIRES. STRIKE TEAMS WERE DEPLOYED TO THE DEL MAR FAIRGROUNDS AND AMR BALBOA HQ STAGING AREAS.

After Action Report

THE LAST STRIKE TEAM WAS DEMOBILIZED ON 10/27/07 AT 2000 HRS. TOTAL NUMBER OF PATIENT TRANSPORTS DURING THIS DEPLOYMENT WAS 325.

1 An ambulance strike team is composed of 5 similar type ambulances with a team supervisor deployed as a single resource.
